 How to live well

We think that, if we need a rule or law, the golden rule, here in the style of the Zoroastrian religion, is the most sensible one:

 

That nature alone is good

 

All other rules and laws are distractions from the truth.

To this golden rule however we need to apply honesty. When we try to be honest then we can't avoid discovering that we are rarely able to apply this golden rule, let alone all other rules given by the many religious sects on this planet.

This leads to all those tragic reactions of individuals, similar to those with autism, alzheimer and many other diseases, where sufferers find it difficult to deal with life in all its complexities.

At the end of our pilgrimage we cannot avoid becoming honest and clear with ourselves, knowing that we made this mistake of creating, with all its inherent dualities, so cannot live fully by the Golden Rule.

Seeking to return to our real Self might be the ultimate practice in our daily lives . . . . . .
